Applications

In order to participate, the Young Researcher* must provide an abstract of their work, using the template provided.

Candidates will also have to provide a copy of their PhD diploma/certificate.

The deadline for applications is: 31st January 2024 (midnight Paris time)

 Eligibility

*Definition of Young Researcher: From PhD obtention to 5 years after PhD graduation. 

Please note that the Young Researchers applying to the prize should belong or have done their PhD at one of OENOVITI International's member institutions.

Selection procedure

After the deadline, all applications will be reviewed by a Selection Committee composed of representatives from the OENOVITI International Network.

A shortlist of candidates will be contacted by the end of February 2024 and invited to present their work during an oral presentation in March 2024 (by videoconference).

After the oral presentations, the Selection Committee will nominate the successful candidate, who will be invited to attend the OENOVITI International Symposium and General Assembly (Turin, Italy, 14th and 15th May 2024).

The Selection Committee has full discretion of the final results.

Prize

The successful Young Researcher will receive a prize of 2000€ from the OENOVITI International Network.

They will also be invited to attend the OENOVITI International Symposium and General Assembly in Turin, Italy, on 14th and 15th May 2024. Their airfare and 2 nights of hotel will be paid by the Network to attend this event.
